How do I convert my Pounds Sterling to Euros ?
Firstly you will need to open a free no obligation trading account with FCG using the form provided here. Your account will then be approved and your dedicated adviser, Adam Bobroff will contact you personally to discuss your currency exchange requirements. If you are happy with what has been quoted you would enter into a verbally binding agreement thereby securing currency at an agreed level. Confirmation would then be provided for you in the form of a contract note which would be sent to you via registered post, fax or email. There is then a two day settlement period once the order has been agreed. As soon as funds are received by FCG, you will be notified and once funds are clear and ready for transmission they will be sent to the onward destination of your choice.
How do we exchange funds ?
Depending on the urgency of your currency exchange, you can either transfer your Pounds Sterling, dollars, swiss francs, kronas, funds via Chaps/Swift or send a cheque to us. If you use Chaps/Swift then we can provide you with your Euros or any other foreign currency that you may require within the two day settlement period. If you send us a cheque then your Euros, dollars, swiss Francs etc ... will be paid out on the sixth working day after receipt of your cheque.
Your Euros or any other currency you purchased will be sent via priority telegraphic transfer directly into the bank account of your instruction.
