The "Optional Premier Service Package" is dedicated to minimising your risks. We will help you to negotiate the right price, provide you with personal advice and guidance throughout the whole buying process, and organise your household insurance FREE for the first year when buying with us. FREE Premier Service Support
Stage 1 - Selecting and Viewing
Once you have selected the properties you wish to visit, we will prepare and organise the viewing trip with you. There may be more than one trip.
The tasks and steps involved:
- You select a number of French properties you would like to view
- You register on the site and contact us. Together we discuss your exact requirements (location, specific criteria, budget) as well as the way we operate
- With you, we decide which properties you want to view and when
- We contact our agents and arrange an itinerary/schedule for your visit
- We send you our standard agreement and the details of your viewing trip
- We can advise on excellent value accommodation for your visit

Stage 2 - The Pre-contract or "compromis"
If you have opted for the "Premier Service Package" we will help you decide, and take you through, the early stages of organising the purchase of your property. For those of you who have signed the pre-contract agreement or compromis on a viewing trip, please move onto stage 3.
The tasks and steps involved:
- We discuss and advise you on the final property decision
- We negotiate the selling price with the vendors agent on your behalf
- We submit your offer to the vendors agent
- We arrange with you a suitable early date for signing the pre-contract agreement or "compromis" at the notarys office with yourself, our agent and the vendor
- We can advise and assist you with organising a mortgage, loan or finance
- We can assist you with the transfer of funds at competitive rates
The pre-contract agreement or "compromis" is now signed and you are getting closer to owning your property in France. This is when you settle the first instalment of our success fee. The charge for our services is related to the NET property price and starts at 0.95%. At this stage, you only pay 30% of our total fee. Click here to see the Stage 2 charges table.
Stage 3 - The Final Stage
If you have opted for the "Premier Service Package" , this stage will finalise the purchase of your property and put in place our after sales services.
The tasks and steps involved:
- We liaise with the agent and notary on your behalf
- We liaise with the vendor on your behalf if necessary
- We send you updates on the progress of your purchase until the final contract or act is complete and ready to be signed
- We generally help you to avoid unnecessary and frustrating delays
- We organise and pay for your household insurance FREE for the first year
- We arrange connection to water, electricity, gas and telephone if required
- We can assist with the opening of a bank account if required
- We can assist with the transfer of funds at competitive rates
Once you have signed the final deeds or "acte authentique", the keys are given to you and the house is yours. The second instalment for our services is now due and you are required to remit the remaining 70% of our total success fee. Click here to see the Stage 3 charges table.
Extra services:
- Translation of documents at competitive prices; French to English/English to French start at £99 per 1,000 words . Other languages can be translated, please contact us for a quote from our professional translating partner.
- Arranging a proxy for you
- Advice concerning moving in services, building services work and security on the ground
