During The Health Crisis Stay Safe Stay Home

We hope you are well and you are keeping safe wherever you are. Let’s start with the good news; for most of us spring is on the way and the weather should start to improve quickly as we head towards the summer months.

But you know the other news about the coronavirus pandemic that is affecting all of us everywhere. As you know in order to reduce the movement and contact of people, and so to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the French government has instructed all non-essential businesses to close until further notice.

We are following the circumstances surrounding the COViD19 closely and are doing our absolute best to keep our clients and our teams on the ground safe. Together with our partners in France, we are adhering to these instructions and all offices/agencies are closed.

These closures will remain in place throughout March and very likely for most of April. We will be monitoring developments and following government guidance both in France and the UK with regards to when it may then be appropriate and practical for us to advise our clients to safely travel to France.

While we’ve had to cancel all up and coming visits, those who were lucky enough to find their house this winter are pressing ahead, keen to secure their property this year under the current arrangements with France and the EU.

In the meantime we’ll send you messages about new properties and prices reductions, so keep an eye on the website, learn about the buying process and legal costs, insurance, researching the various regions and why not take this time to learn French, or any other new language, for example our kids love Duolingo.

And given the volatile markets and currencies, learn how you to secure the best fx rates with our UK based partners at Foremost Currency.

It’s hugely important that everyone play their part, and hopefully you’ll enjoy using the website to help you keep those dreams alive, just slightly reported …  But right now we advise our families and friends to stay put and be patient, it will help save lives. ‘SAUVEZ DES VIES, RESTEZ CHEZ VOUS’ as requested by President Macron and other heads of state in Europe and around the world. #StaySafeStayHome

In the meantime, be safe, keep an eye on our latest/reduced properties and stay in touch, we’ll be answering calls and emails as usual. You can also find us on social media; on twitter, Facebook and Pinterest.

When you have a moment, why not send us an update on your plans so we can learn about your project and amend your settings accordingly. If you are no longer looking then let us know and we will delete your details from the system.
