Estimate the Value of your French Property Online

Here at My-French-House.com, we often receive requests from property owners in France asking whether we provide a valuation service, advertise on our website, or can recommend a local estate agent to come around and “have a look”. Some do it because they plan to sell, while others do it out of curiosity.

Are you considering selling your property, buying a home in France, acquiring land, or curious about the value of real estate in a particular area? You can now conveniently request an online estimate of your property or land’s value.

This free land value request service is accessible to everyone and acts as a “land value explorer” tool. It lets users track trends and changes in real estate prices in their area, helping them estimate their property’s value. This data is refreshed twice a year, in April and October, so you have the most current information at your fingertips.

French Real Estate Database

You can access a database that contains information from the past five years for:

• the price and sale date of an existing property (apartment or house) or unbuilt property (land and farm):
• the property description: type, number of rooms, and surface area;
• the average sale price per square meter by region and city.

Check the Value of your Property

There are several ways to check the value of a property:

• Using the search bar: enter an address (top right) and refine if needed by filtering by property type (apartment, house, commercial space)
• Using the interactive map, click on a department, then a municipality, and finally a cadastral section. Recent sales appear in blue, and you can also view a detailed list of recent sales.
• Or, using a table: select a department from the dropdown menu, and the list of transactions (sales, purchases…) will be provided.

Here’s the link to access the property & land value service. However, the service is not currently available for the departments of Bas-Rhin, Haut-Rhin, and Moselle in northern France.
