The converted barn has natural oak doors, windows and internal shutters – all hand made by local experts.


The former longere/fermette is opposite the “old barn” and has been used successfully for B&B guests in the past. It is self contained and the same quality of material and attention to detail has been continued here as is found opposite.

The entrance hall with stairs to the first floor offers the choice of accessing the large ground floor bedroom with shower/wc and views over the park on one side and the other to the lounge, approx. 38 sqm, with exposed beams, feature stone fireplace and “traditional farm sink” (used today as a feature). This elegant room has plenty of natural light and leads into the kitchen/diner, a well equipped and designed room of more than 30 sqm. Worth noting that there is also another room attached to the kitchen/diner which is currently used as a tack room but could easily become additional accommodation if required.

On the 1st floor we have an office space, 2  shower rooms and 3 bedrooms including an enormous vaulted one of approx 50 sqm with character galore and separate external access.


The central courtyard is graveled with light couloured stones and is very well presented with access to several smaller outbuildings, al-fresco areas, a large open hanger (ideal for further stables, etc). The entrance drive has been planted on one side with specimen trees (as can be found at various strategic points throughout the estate) and the front pond is open fenced. Surrounding the buildings are the paddocks and fields, some used for the horses and others for hay, with several retained as wild meadows and parkland.

Of the +/- 50 hectares there is roughly half woodland with cut paths and walks within and the rest fields and paddocks. There are at least 3 pond with natural sources on site and the possibility to create a more formal entrance through the private woodland if required. A recognized “bridleway” passes close by and permits for extensive ride-outs (horse, cycling, etc.) direct from the property.


The property is in a rural setting whilst still retaining excellent access to a choice of local villages and towns and about 20mins from Loches. An idyllic family home for those that appreciate nature and quality with perhaps an interest in equestrian activities and the possibility of guest accommodation (paying or otherwise) if required. One of our favourite properties and well worth a viewing.
